Author Catherine Anderson

The Kendrick Coulter Harrigan Series

Each of these books in this series can be read alone.  There is no back story branching from one book to another.  They are about the connected characters in each story line.

Book 1, Baby Love, and book 2, Phantom Waltz are about the Kendricks.

Books 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 are about the Coulter Family.

Books 8 and 9 are about 2 of the Harrigan brothers.

Whereas book 10 brings us another of the Coulter Family.  This one is a historical romance and shares where the Coulter Family has come from.

Books 11 and 12 bring the last two of the Harrigan Family.

Baby Love

Catherine Anderson's Baby Love, book 1 in the Kendrick Coulter Harrigan Series

Rafe Kendrick, in book 1, Baby Love, is riding the rails as a bum and a drunk after his whole family dies.  There he encounters Maggie Stanley who is running from an abusive step-dad.  He helps her find safety for herself, her baby and for her younger sister, Heidi.  He offers marriage to her for a way to protect her.

Book 1 and book 2 are tied together because the main characters are brothers.

Phantom Waltz

Catherine Anderson's Phantom Waltz, book 2 in the Kendrick Coulter Harrigan Series

In book 2, Phantom Waltz, Ryan Kendrick is a wealthy rancher when he meets Bethany Coulter.  She is in a wheelchair due to an accident and has been hurt in body as well as in spirit.  She vows to never love again.  Ryan has his work cut out for him as he convinces her that she is not as broken as she thinks.  I loved this story.

With Bethany in book 2, it is the beginning of the Coulter family.  Books 3, 4, 5, 6, and 7 are the rest of the Coulter family.  The Coulter family is just as wealthy and just as well known as the Kendrick family.

Sweet Nothings

Catherine Anderson's Sweet Nothings, book 3 in the Kendrick Coulter Harrigan Series

Book 3, Sweet Nothings, is about Jake Coulter and Molly Sterling.  Jake is the oldest in the family.  Molly literally drops into his life with a horse, Sunset, that needs Jake's help.  Jake has been dubbed the horse whisperer.  As he helps to heal one soul, he helps to heal hers as well.  It is a very sweet story about finding yourself again after an abusive marriage.  I cried right along with Molly.

Catherine Anderson's SunKissed, book 7 in the Kendrick Coulter Harrigan Series

Book 7, Sunkissed, brings us the beginning of the Harrigan family.  Samantha Harrigan is the owner of a horse ranch and Tucker Coulter is the local vet that helps her when one of her horses is poisoned.  She stays at his facility while her horse heals and they get to know each other quickly.

It's an intense, moving story right from the start.  I read this one over and over again.

Morning Light

Catherine Anderson's Morning Light, book 8 in the Kendrick Coulter Harrigan Series

Book 8, Morning Light, is an inspirational story that makes you believe that there is more to life than just us.  Clint Harrigan is skeptical when Loni MacEwen tells him that his son needs him.  And it's life or death.  He doesn't have a son, does he???

This is a touching story about believing in the unbelievable and taking the chance of a lifetime.

Star Bright

Catherine Anderson's Star Bright, book 9 in the Kendrick Coulter Harrigan Series

Book 9, Star Bright, brings us Parker Harrigan's story.  When he meets Rainie Hall, he knows she lying.  And one thing he won't tolerate is lying.

Book 10, Early Dawn, takes us back to the 1800s for a story from the Coulter history.

Book 11, Here to Stay, brings us to the Harrigan family again.  Zach Harrigan has a ranch filled with mini horses that he uses for people with disabilities.  So when Mandy Pajeck finds him and asks him to help with her younger brother, he has to convince her to stay as well.

Perfect Timing

Catherine Anderson's Perfect Timing, book 12 in the Kendrick Coulter Harrigan Series

Book 12, Perfect Timing, is the last of the Harrigans.  Loni (book 8) is sick and they don't know what she has.  When Ceara O'Ceallaigh tells Quincy Harrigan that she can break the curse that is attached to his family by marrying her, he is a little skeptical.

The back story to this curse is that the first wives will die from some mysterious illness.  Their father, Frank Harrigan, lost his wife when they were all young and he had to raise all his boys and Samantha alone.
